Accessibility Statement

A lot of the veterans we talk with live with hearing loss, vision changes, nerve damage in their hands or a TBI that makes busy screens tiring. This site should work for them as well as anyone. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

How the site is built

• Every page has one main heading and a logical heading order, so screen readers can jump section to section
• Form fields have written labels, and the case review form can be completed with a keyboard only
• Light text sits on dark backgrounds with strong contrast, and nothing important is shown by color alone
• If your device is set to reduce motion, the page animations turn off
• Pages reflow for phones and hold together when you zoom to 200%

Something not working?

Tell us. Call (414) 555-0100 and we can take your whole case review over the phone instead of the form. It helps to know the page and what happened, for example a button your screen reader skipped. We try to answer within two business days and to fix confirmed problems quickly.
